Business and art don’t exist as opposites, but as two sides of a yin-yang. Business gives art structure. Art brings soul to business. That is the space I work in, where ideas are both free and focused, where vision meets execution, and where creativity becomes culture.

ABOUT ME

I’m a Hong Kong-born creative with an aptitude for business, currently studying Commerce at Smith School of Business. I’m someone driven by one vision: to bring together art, community, and entrepreneurship into something meaningful.

I’m an innovator and a builder. Where others see nothing, I see a blank canvas — ready to become something alive.

At my core, I value creativity, community, and self-expression. These values run through everything I do — from founding the multimedia collective Quilted, to building the concept-driven brand cat7.underwear, to leading campaigns that blend strategy with emotion.

EXPERIENCE

Founder & Director– Quilted Queens
Kingston, ON | 2024 – Present

In 2024, I founded Quilted, a student-led multimedia collective rooted in creative freedom and collaboration. What began as an underground initiative quickly evolved into a fully realized ecosystem—spanning zines, short films, fashion, and large-scale cultural events.

I oversaw every stage of the brand’s growth: from creative direction and team building to marketing strategy and event execution.

Key Achievements:
  • Built and led a team of 40+ interdisciplinary creatives
  • Directed a sold-out showcase with over 200 attendees
  • Produced and sold 100+ units of original merch and zines
  • Reached 81K+ organic views across social platforms
  • Designed and executed a zero-budget marketing campaign using business cards, posters, and a concept-driven short film
  • Established a platform that connected Queen’s students with Kingston’s local arts community

Founder & Creative Director – cat7.underwear
Hong Kong | 2024 – Present

I co-founded cat7.underwear as a brand built on duality — blending athletic functionality with visual identity rooted in underground rave culture. More than just clothing, cat7 explores movement, obsession, and the flow state through product, campaign design, and creative storytelling.

I led the brand from concept to execution — overseeing product development, visual direction, content creation, and launch strategy across Hong Kong.

Key Achievements:
  • Developed and launched two product lines reflecting dual states: Performance & Comfort
  • Directed and edited 2 concept-driven campaign films
  • Managed manufacturing, influencer outreach, and distribution
  • Sold 160+ units in the first two months with HK$23,000 revenue and a 40% profit margin
  • Gained 2,000+ organic followers through content-focused marketing and collaborations
  • Crafted a visual identity that merged commerce and creativity through design, narrative, and motion

What is Quilted?

Quilted is a student-led multimedia collective built on the belief that creativity thrives in community. Born from the need for a space where artistic expression isn’t confined by rules or hierarchy, Quilted brings together artists, musicians, designers, filmmakers, writers, and creators of all kinds to collaborate, experiment, and push boundaries.

What started as an underground creative community at Queen’s University has grown into a self-sustaining ecosystem of showcases, zines, fashion drops, short films, and cultural experiences. Quilted exists in the in-between—between disciplines, between campus and city, between idea and action.

We stand for raw expression, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the power of student-led culture. We’re not just hosting events; we’re building a movement that stitches together independent voices into something greater than the sum of its parts
    1. IGNITION

    Invitation Card

To promote Quilted 2025, we used a stripped-back business card with just a logo and QR code. No info, just curiosity.
It was a personal, hand-to-hand invite—meant to be kept, not thrown away.
A small card that opened the door t

    Short Film — The Reveal

This 1-minute film was made for those who picked up the card.

No dialogue. No explanation. Just emotion, energy, and a feeling that something bigger was unfolding.

    It wasn’t a promo. It was a
    portal.

    2. CREATION

    THE ZINE

The QUILTED 2025 zine is more than a printed object—it’s a physical reflection of the community we built.
Curated from multiple collaborative photoshoots, behind-the-scenes moments, and visual experimentation, the zine functions as both a lookbook and a document of our process.
Sold and distributed at the showcase, the zine became a piece of the event you could take home—something to hold, flip through, and remember.

    BEHIND THE ZINE
Created on a tight timeline, the zine was shaped by shared effort.
Photographers edited their own work, layouts evolved through trial and error, and design choices were made intuitively.

It wasn’t perfect by design—just real, raw, and made together.
     intuition as much as intention.

Mistakes were made. Pages were reworked. But the zine came together the way Quilted always has—through trust, tension, and the magic that happens when people make things together.

    LEGACY AND REFLECTION

Everything you see here happened in the span of just two months. What started as an idea quickly became a fully realized event—complete with marketing, merchandise, a published zine, and a sold-out showcase. But more than that, I built a community.

Through Quilted, I created a space for collaboration, experimentation, and creative freedom—one that connected students and local artists across Queen’s University and Kingston.

Even as I move on from this city, Quilted will stay—because it was never just mine. It belongs to the people who built it with me, and those who will continue to shape it next.
